Lance is an innovator and visionary with over 20+ years in the healthcare industry. He is currently Director of Technology and Innovation Management within Siemens Healthineers. His current responsibility is scouting, evaluating and leading collaborative innovation projects related to emerging technologies. He has held roles spanning corporate research, laboratory diagnostics and central strategy. He has served on academic advisory boards, lectured and chaired/organized industry conferences. He has several publications and has been granted multiple patents. He has a B.Sc. in genetics/cell biology and an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in neurophysiology and computer science, both from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
